ios – Expo Speech onPause and onResume usually are not fired when paused or resumed

I set onPause and onResume callback as an possibility when calling Speech.communicate to talk textual content.
Though pausing and resuming talking works completely advantageous, however the callbacks I give to talk operate arent fired.
Does anybody know there’s a recognized situation or methods to repair it?

SDK Model: ~46.0.9

Platforms(Android/iOS/internet/all): iOS

"expo-speech": "~10.3.0"

I set like this:

const communicate = () => {
    Speech.communicate(textual content, {
        ...choices,
        onPause: ev => console.log('PAUSED!', ev),
        onResume: ev => console.log('RESUMED! ', ev),
      })
}

// move the above to button like
<Button title="communicate" onPress={communicate} />
<Button title="pause" onPress={pauseFunc} />
<Button title="resume" onPress={resumeFunc} />

Nothing is logged in console…
